Lukas Spies
Originally from Germany, I am currently a Post-Doctoral researcher at the INRIA research center in Paris, France. There I am part of the ALPINES team which focuses on high performance scientific computing. My main research focus currently is primilarly in communication avoiding linear solvers and their inplementations in FreeFEM.I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the University of Galway (Ireland), a Masters degree in Scientific Computing from Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada), and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois (USA).
